Well, I was going to register. Thought I'd read a couple of posts. Got to one thread talking about "big t___s", and "sh__birds." I won't be registering. You guys have fun.
Its not going to be for everyone - take care and have fun wherever you are going to. Personally, I do not mind a few swear words and won't be censoring people for it unless it becomes insulting or turns into bullying.
By the way - I am going to be upgrading the forum software over the Christmas holidays to give it a better look and better functionality. I know a few gents have said its too bright and I agree. We will have a dark forum with white lettering so we can all see without getting eye strain.
I didn't see that one, Steve. Thanks for mentioning it. I would prefer to avoid that tone/ terminology as well.
I am sure that will try to be avoided in the future, sometimes even the mods can slip up and make a post that's risque.. As you said it was deleted
The first was deleted. The second is still there. And I wouldn't classify these as risqué. They are flat out unacceptable, my opinion. Not even close to being called innuendos.
I’m with you Steve. One of the reasons I made the Shave Den home for eleven years is there wasn’t much offensive behavior. It was well moderated and a lot of fun. If offensive behavior/language is acceptable from the top, I’ll probably check out of this new forum. I’m disappointed, but life goes on. I have other hobbies with well-moderated sites. I’ll hang out there. Have fun and Merry Christmas!
Guys. Don’t judge unless you read it yourself. There is MUCH worse on TSD. Anyway, if someone cannot stand a few words that might just be used by actual male humans then maybe it’s not for you. I will not stand for offensive behaviour, bullying or other shenanigans on my forum, but I will and do allow us to talk like real human men talk all the time in the workplace and in real life. If you want to check out some real swearing and some really smutty posts , search for the f word using the search box at the top of this page. Your eyes will pop. Again, if it’s not to a persons taste they can always go to another forum. No hard feelings. But getting pouty about it is not the way.
Wow, replying by calling us “pouty” says a lot. I chose to stay out of the “dirty joke” section here, where most of what I find offensive was. I don’t use foul language and most of the men I hang out with don’t either. You and I have a difference of opinion of what is normal male behavior. Don’t get me wrong. I wish you well and hope you succeed with your forum, but I probable won’t hang out there. I have no illusions that that will matter to you and am not offended, nor am I judging you. We just see things differently. Good luck!
