Monday, Monday, Monday! Merkur HD Gillette Swede Rooney 3, 1 Taylor of Old Bond Street St. James shave stick Max Refreshing Aftershave w/Menthol Saint Charles Shave Lavender milk 4 day growth, lukewarm water due to too many showers this morning = a little tugging but all in all a good shave. I've never had a Swede feel like that so I guess hot water makes a pretty big difference.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep: Shavemac 22mm silvertip Fatboy/ Iridium AOS 'Bay Rum' SC Lucky Tiger AS Storer 'Monk' EdP Hehe, I felt like a strong blast of bay rum this morning, and I sure got my wish. I used the unscented AOS cream and added some bay rum EO (Pimenta Racemosa) to the stuff. Turns out it was just a tad too much, since I felt my upper lip tingling a little. No other reaction, and the shave went well. Man, this AOS cream is excellent stuff.......extremely easy to lather, with lots of slick and protection during the shave. Whew........an intense bay rum experience. Face is BBS, but still not quite as close a shave as when using the Aristocrat open comb. All in all, a very nice time this morning. Martin

Tuesday: Hot shower Merkur Futur 7oclock yellow Edwin Jagger BBB Taylor of old bond street Eton College S/C Zirh Soothe First day with the 7oclocks. Felt nice and very different from the feathers. Can't really tell how much I like them yet but will continue using them for at least a week. The TOBS Cream was just great, a litle to much scent though, because I know we've got some people that are sensitive for strong scents in my school. Too bad because it really is doing good!
