Yes, but very light. It was like someone who had just sahved with Salter's sandalwood walked into the room. The Salter's is one of my favorite SW creams. I like it! And this, after my post on the "Discontinued" thread... :ashamed001 I've read that the new Maca root formulation is very similar, but the scent is different. The consistency, lather, etc reminded me of GFT. TBS is in England. I not sure if that a regional office or a home base. Anyone know who makes it?
According to the store clerk I spoke to they make it. Some products TBS makes themselves and for others they outsource to local small vendors.
I think the creams were made by Creightons who makes the creams for the three T's. This is why the performance is similar.
I stopped by the Body Shop yesterday afternoon and picked up 4 tubs of the old formula cream. I think I am now set for creams and soaps for the next 5 years. At $4.00 a tub though, I just could not resist. I'll probably pass on two tubs to friends in an effort to convert them to Wet Shaving.
How exactly did you manage to buy four tubs when this stuff got pulled off the shelves a week ago? Just curious.................
It wasn't on the shelves. I just asked the clerk if they had any old formula cream in back. They had 20 tubs left as of Saturday afternoon and I bought 4 tubs.
I am really surpised these havent made it to the classifieds yet. The shipping though is the same price as the tub though! They are selling on ebay for a nice price hike. I got one from Shep and the stuff is really class act stuff. Dont know why I never tried it? Very good quality stuff.
