He must. I got jumped by the mods about 2 months ago when I listed some things for sale. I didn't even make profit. I buy alot and am always trying to better my collection. Now if I won a big lot because I only wanted one razor in it, I do plan to sell the others in the lot.
This is where the thread went all haywire! You like my flame pics I threw in http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=62385
But God forbid it if someome does the same with thier POS B&B LE brush. Try to make $25 dollars profit and you get flamed, threatened, and ridiculed to no end. And it is the Mods doing it!!! That place disgusts me sometimes. I need to go post a bunch of porn over there again.
Where were you in the 90's man? The aliens and the government and bees, I still don't think I know what happened when I did watch.
to me any last second bid from a bidder that has not been in the race is a snipe. Maybe that is a too literal definition.. but that is about how I feel. Fuzzy
But how do you know who's in the bidding? The names are hidden, aren't they? The fact that you are placing a moral imperative on an online auction seems...odd. There are set rules for eBay--no shill bidding, no multiple accounts, etc, to prevent fraud. This is as it should be. Sniping is just well timed bidding, and, well...that's the point, isn't it? eBay isn't a sport--it's shopping, and the fact that you are placing "fair" judgements on it means, to me, that you have started to place an entirely inappropriate framework on what is, essentially, commerce. It's not a game. It's buying something. I personally don't bid on anything on eBay. It's BIN or nothing, because I can't be bothered to worry about bidding wars, sniping, what have you. If I want something, I buy it. If I don't want it bad enough to pay the price for it, I don't need it.
