For me its the heart of the cinema Theather a HDX1000 Movie center.
I will build a 1.5TB HD in it and it will play all files you can ever think off.
streamed from your PC if you want or directly from HD.
overnight it will dl your torrents and NZB's . keeping your $$$ computer from doing those.and be a FTP server aswell.

amazing piece of hardware max output is 1080P over HDMI.

Placed an order with Connaught Shaving last night for 100 Gillette 7 O'clock Permasharps, Speick AS, MWF refill, Austrian Pitralon Aftershave, Godrej Deluxe Shaving Cream, D.R. Harris Soap Refill Marlborough, Kappus Aloe Vera Shaving Cream, and Ingram Shave Cream.

I posted that I got these last week, but finally got some pictures to post:

This Gem Christmas gift set was actually a Christmas gift from a good friend.


This one came off the bay. I thought it was NOS, but it was used. Still pretty sweet though. The instructions have some staining from the strop paste though.

 

My birthday was Saturday and my wife really hooked me up. I was pretty surprised when I saw what it was, knowing how expensive they are. In an odd twist of fate she actually got it for half the price locally than what she could have online!

 

And so did I!
My loot was as follows:
30 Red personnas
10 Astra Superior
A tub of TOBS Rose S/C
A 100ml tub of Connaught S/C English Lavender
A tube of Ingram

The SCAD is getting worse!
I tried the TOBS cream today and it's quite different compared to both the T&H trafalgar and TOBS eton college but I think it's a very good complement.
The lavender is so you almost want to taste it, a true weekend cream! The ingram is hard to describe in scent and i think i'll have to try lather it before trying.
Overall, very nice! Paul at Connaught is the man!

Picked these beauties up. 1905 DR and 1911 SR old types. Each has a few dings on the handle, otherwise they're in excellent shape.

I just won a #22 set for $139 and that is after the 32 Euros for shipping. This was the only pic so lets hope it is all good.

I would but that was the only one they had without the price tag. She said they had one near it in the case that was similar but didn't have the holders for $35 so they assumed mine was too...

1.5TB Seagate HD for the MediaTank. the fun starts tonight.
I wouldnt use DVD discs anymore the way the price per GB is discs cant compete HD full just buy another one.

If anyone knows a good solution for JBOD , im all ears. pref.with NAS solution so I can pass on the files from this 1.5TB to the array standing by. over the network.
