Nope, from PA, plenty of Sugar Maples in them thar hills. Dad still makes a few gallons a year but both sugar shacks I tedious skimmed and stoked in as a child are decaying back into Maple food. I think we called them sugar groves.

It's good to be among friends, innit? It's a shame that so many people should feel compelled to find elsewhere to hang out isn't it? I feel kind of like somebody closed down my favorite coffee shop and built a baby-clothes store instead. On the other hand, it also feels like I crossed the street and found a new coffee shop that captures the feeling the old shop had before it started catering to the Starbucks crowd.
