I put a token bid on this auction without ever really expecting to win, but in light of my other score earlier, I guess it's just my day.
Nice! you must have more tokens than I. That is a lot of money to me. But not a bad price for what you got.
Heck, that Executive would usually go for close to a $100 by itself. As long as they are as nice as they appear, $20 per is a steal in my book.
Very nice scores Rick. Especially that TV Rocket Set:signs107 Let the ::duel begin... I won a French HD rocket set for $35 shipped , a #58 for a decent deal of $140 , another Old Type Aristocrat but with a split barrel for under $20 and a 40's Rocket for $16.52. Not too shabby. Ehh?
I'll send you $10 and you buy some Mega-Millions tickets for me, OK? nice haul - I was watching the lot - figured it would go for over $100 - more than a token for me, right now, sadly. Nice - I love the Rocket & especially the #58! a good day, eh?
I don't see a Rocket picture Scotty, but there looks to be an old type Aristocrat with a horrible split in the handle for the bottom photo.
I already had these, but I don't mind parading them back out in the name of "smack talk". HD Rocket, #58, #15 Aristocrat for the French market, and the somewhat uncommon 1946 Ranger Tech
Nice! What kind of setup do you have for you pictures? Whatever lighting/camera skill makes their shine standout.
My #22 set came in about 2 hours ago The razor is near mint and the case in good shape as well. I cant tell any differences between the #22 and #66 except for the cases.
Nice #22 there, Scott. As for the pictures, I finally resorted to reading the camera manual to learn how to use it.
I think not, my good man. In case these were missed in the The Haul, I have a 1930's Bostonian and Red and Black set that are both in pretty minty condition -- and there are more items currently in transit.
Okay, here are a couple of antique store finds for today. Any of you highly knowledgeable gents know what that "G" is on the baseplate of the Tuckaway razor?
