Hi guys, my name is Ed and I have been into wet shaving for quite a few years. Prior to finding this site (I thought I was the only shaving nut) I had only used boar brushes and recently bought my first pure grey badger and stand from Fendrihan.com. I don't know if they are considered good brushes or not but I really like it and I get so much more lather with it. I have some questions but I'll save them for later.Thanks......
Hi Ed! Glad you found us; don't give up on boar--boar can do more! Welcome to the den, and enjoy your shave!
Welcome Minstrel. If you like your brush, then you have a good one. If you haven't found it already look for nivea shave cream(not the foam or gel). I picked up a tube when I was in Canada, and it's really good stuff. JM Frasers is another good Canadian cream. Don't be shy in asking questions, we'd be glad to try and lend a hand.
Hi Ed and welcome to TheShaveDen!! I have lived in Newfoundland and New Brunswick - so I have been both to yer right and yer left. Now I am out on the west coast. Have a lobster for me! Have a good day eh! Oh Canada.....:eatdrink004 (the beer is from Doug and Dave)
It's funny you should mention Nivea Shave Creme. Walmart had it on sale this week and I bought a tube. It is excellent, producing "whipped creme " lather .
