Some of us don't keep cameras in their gym locker at work. Someone might get nervous and think I'm into locker room porno. :rofl
Actually, they think it is pretty cool. They're starting to ask a lot of questions and trying out some of the aftershaves and colognes. Some of them even like the Aqua Velva. No accounting for taste I guess. :rofl
mmmmmhhhh... now that's one great looking razor :drool SATURDAY Flare Tip SS Feather MP best badger Trumper CSF/PRE Aramis SS alum, alum, alum Pinaud Bay Rum Diana with Menthol balm I've made a bad and a good experience today: bad: That 23€ Aramis-soap doesn't lather AT ALL! I tried it with next to no water, loads of water and a third time with a middle-of-the-road amount of water. The bit of lather you get disappears on your face after a few strokes with the razor. That's a pity because the soap is slick, the scent is great and so is the skincare... good: Found a tub of an Austrian product called "Diana balm with menthol" in my parents medicine cabinet yesterday. It's a product designed to help after (sun-)burn, for sore muscles and in general as a balm after working out. Curious as I am I had to try it as an ASB. And it worked GREAT! The skincare is wonderful, the product is made from natural ingredients only without perfume or colorants and - it has MENTHOL! LOADS of MENTHOL! You'll get yer mug deep-frozen from that stuff you'll even get tears in your eyes! Wonderful! :drool

Fields Buckingham Lavender Shaving Soap Simpson's Chubby CH2 Best 9/8 F. Fenney "Tally Ho" Straight Handamerican Strop Immortelle Hydrosol Hydrolast Unscented A/S Conditioner Creed Bois du Portugal Not sure about the Fields soap. It performs great rich, voluminous lather with plenty of cushion and slip, but man does it ever smell funky! Kind of like that stale, musty smell you get in a locker room. Tried lathering the soap a couple of times to get rid of it but to no avail. I'm not sure I want to lather my face with something that smells so off
This is like the Ogallala Bay Rum soap. If you want lather forget it. If you're OK with the rest of the properties of the soap then you'll do fine. Match it with an unscented cream next time and see what you get.
Sweet Friodur! I love abalone scales. I'm going to go out on a limb and ass-u-me that is one of the Wacker friodurs offered by Shaving Shop and would like to know what you think of them. I have several NOS Henckels which I like a lot, but had heard the Wacker ones were not as good. Can you compare the two? Regards, Alex
The soap performs so well that anything is worth a try! Not quite in the same league as the Yardley, but better than any currently available soap. Regards, Alex
well, I've had Aramis soap in the past, and strangely enough, it lathered nicely, but it gave me a bad rash and irritation all over my face and neck. A pity, because it smells wonderful.
Hi Alex, I think these were reground by Wacker, I think the grind is fine on these Friodurs. I also have a few NOS Friodurs, not from Wacker and they all give me an excellent shave as well but are not the same size so I think it may be hard to get an accurate comparison. I really like the steel on these and they hold a very good edge for me and give excellent shaves. The scales are by Robert Williams, his work is outstanding. Neale

Hi Jason, How are you liking your Feather, shave you tried the other blades available besides the Pro Guards? What are your thoughts on the blades? I need to buy some blades for mine so I can finally try it out. Thanks!
