Update

Alright I've finally sent the box away (actually I will on my lunch break today)

Actually I got it sent off this morning. Since djwurm lives so close to me, it should be there by Monday parcel post.

I'll add photos tonight or whenever I get to it.

There's a 6" Fine (600 grit) DMT Diasharp, a pitted Wade and Butcher straight razor I shaved with this morning, and a Hawcroft & Howson straight that is in pretty good condition but could use some polishing and a honed edge.



I took out a small thing of TOBS Rose, an Ogallala bay rum soap sample and a TSD SubZero thing. My wife took a handmade bath soap, and the big green soap that was in the bag with the two bath sponge things, which she also took.





I also took back my Eurasmic (snigger), two brushes, two bowls, preshave oil, and aftershave balm.



So 14 items out and 3 items in. Fair enough?

I'd make him put in a Gunmetal Weishi. I bought one from him and it is a really beautiful finish.

 

Well the box is in my hands and man is it heavy!

Also who made the homemade lavender bath soap?

I took back 2 pieces that were originally put in my me, the palmolive shave stick, and a feather razor.

I think I am going to keep the Wade and Butcher straight, c&e sienna sample, and noxema aftershave, and lavender soap sample.

Reason I am taking the noxema as it is one of the items severly weighing this box down, and since it is no longer in a flat rate box weight matters.

I will put in the box another straight I had rescaled and honed by moviemaniac, proraso preshave full bottle, TSD iced lime shave cream, and if I can fit it a 85% full tub of T&H Grafton Shave Cream

I will ship it out Friday.

I didn't know there was straights in the box. Gosh, I'm going to have to up the ante on the stuff I have to go in there.

I took a wooden handled brush, which in person looked better (not sure if you were asking about this).
If you read back in this thread you'll see the stuff no longer fits in a flat rate box. But, no one has pulled out a PIF starter kit. That would require someone willing to pay the shipping on the PIF, and agreement by at least a majority of those on the current list.

 

I unloaded probably 20% of the box's volume. Unless djwurm stuffed it back up, it should be fitting into a medium flat rate again without much effort. I guess he will be the one who knows

 

I'd be willing to set up and run a PIF out of it for us. We'll see what all is in there when it gets here.

 

The Lav bath soap is made down the road from me. She does a pretty decent job of it.
