I was wondering about this as well! We are talking about Gnetics right? I sent him a pm, but haven't received anything back. I have his address, if you want, I can hunt him down. I am good at this!

This is not good news.

I MAY have a phone number for Gnetics. I save my PMs to my computer whenever I clear out my inbox. I'll take a look through and see what I can find when I get home tonight.

As for overseas participants, we'll try to figure that out. Once the second box is in Justin's hand we can take a look inside and see if it's overseas friendly.

He has not been back on TSD since the 29th. He sent a PM explaining the delay and asking for the address of the next person just minutes before his last activity on the board. The information was sent to him; however, he hasn't logged back in to receive that PM or other PMs he has been sent.

Is it possible to start a new grab bag? I have a few items I could throw in to get it started...a DE, a SE, a few blades, a brush, aftershave, a small piece of VDH soap...

It is possible; however, I would still like to see the current box get moving again. If nothing happens, then we will see what we see when we see what we see.

 

If you look at the profile for Gnetics, his last activity is listed as 5/10/2010 at 3:12 PM. I'm assuming that means he was on the board at that time.

 

Yup... I see that as well. So he should have received some of the PMs then. However, he didn't reply to mine. Lets just hope he got online, got the snail mail information that he needed and the box is on the way. Of course, if someone had other contact information for him, it would be better to try a different route at this point in case that isn't what happened.

The box was a medium flat rate box and it was stuffed full. When I add in my stuff and the stuff from the other box, it will almost fill a large flat rate box. If we are all OK with that, then the new box will be off as soon as we get an updated list and I have the address of the next recipient. If we want things in a smaller box, then perhaps a few PIF are in order.

I can't take pictures or anything at the moment. The box is in a room where my wife is dealing with a migraine. So I am not about to drag the box out and deal with pictures.

Here is a rough run down of what is in there.. sorry.. this is from memory and may be very incomplete (specially in soap/creme/AS category)

Straights:
There is a Griffon straight, a weck and a corn razor that take disposable blades. There is also a pack of Derby blades for straight barber razors.

Injectors:
1 injector and two backs of blades

Single Edge:
GEM contour with push button, a travel GEM (maybe 2), and about 25 PAL single edge blades

DE:
47/48 superspeed, a 4 piece razor, 2-3 plastic Dorco razors, 2-3 Weishi basic models, 4 other Weishi razors (two gunmetal, one chrome, one gold), about 60 Red Pack blades, about 100 each of the different Dorco blades, and a bag of assorted other blades (Treet, Lord, Wilkonson, Derby, etc...)

Three brushes: Two newer brushes and one vintage

A brush/razor stand

After shaves: Lord, Nivea, Adidas, Aqua Velva Musk, Ogallala, Burberry, and many samples

Shaving Cream: C.O. Bigelow, TOM's mint, Creamo Cream, Old Spice, and many others

Shaving Soap: TSD Coffee, Arko, Erasmic, Ginger's Garden, Ogallala, many samples

 

Hey guys, Sorry I want to apologize for not being around the last couple of weeks. Just been going thru some tough times with family emergencies out of the country and then some stuff when I got home. I was mainly getting on by way of my blackberry when it would get service so that may have been why it showed I was online, got home Monday morning and shipped the box right away.

I took a Weishi, 2 packs Personna blades, Green clay, Sample Cream and the Hair gels (I only remember because of the picture) . Got my pops into wet shaving and after hes taken my brushes he wanted my razor too..so hes getting the weishi and not my Aristocrat lol

I believe I added C&E Sandalwood or Nomad SC (used 1 or 2), Almost full Burberry Weekend Cologne? and Godrej or Arko SC or SS. Honestly I didnt take a picture and my brain is pretty fuzzy these last couple of weeks with little sleep.

Once again please accept my apologies for looking like a shady cat these last couple of weeks. I would be more than happy to send out some Extra stuff to be put into the next box as soon as I pick up my order. I believe I ordered some Valobra SS and what was left of the C&E Sweet Almond oil SC and a few other goodies at the local bath shop.
