1. My recent decision to brew an IPA led me to a pretty intensive IPA taste test. I went to the local gas station (Plez U) which happens to have the best selection in the area, and sells by the bottle. Ended up picking out around 7 IPA's.

After the taste test, Harpoon, one of my favorite brews period, still remains my top IPA.

Anyone else have a favorite rendition of this unique, but extremely tasty style? :drool
  2. Yep

    My two favorites are:

    Goose Island IPA
    Dogfish Head 90-minute Imperial IPA
    Hop Devil IPA
  3. Separated at birth. :D

I haven't seen any of those around here. I've heard good things about Centennial and the Dogfish.
  4. Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA... definately.

Joe, I am going to have to find the bitter woman and the Centennial.. I haven't tried either of those!!!

Maybe we can do a trade, some Issy beer soaps for some beer?? ::
  5. Thats quite an enticing proposition, but I'm dangerously low on stock here. I'm not even sure if the Bitter woman and Centennial are carried around here either....I'll have to check ;) (Milwaukee is where I stocked up on the IPA's - got a good 2 cases-worth variety, but that was a couple weeks ago)
  6. Looks like I need to go on a road trip!

I am only 3 miles west of 294, you practically pass my house on the way to Summerfest.. you can stop and we can do a quick trade..... hint hint hint....
  9. My favorite is "Hop Ottin' IPA" from the Andersen Valley Brewing Co. (makers of Boont Amber Ale).
  10. REO Speedwagon

  12. They are great in concert. Saw them about 8 years ago.
  13. My understanding is that Gary Richrath wrote Ridin' The Storm Out while traveling from their Salt Lake City, Utah booking to Denver, Colorado gig. Part of the fun of being on tour. The weather between the two locations can be merciless.
