1. What is your favorite shave soap? No creams, no sticks, no caned goo, soaps only please.
  2. Williams....If I just had one that would be it. Simple effective cheap..
  3. Van Der Hagen Glycerine Shave Soap... Use it most every day... But MWF, which I have only used once is VERY nice.
  4. one vote for wiliams one for van der hagen.
  5. Van Der Hagen Deluxe -- combines the best properties of the Select and the Glycerin. Williams is in second place.
  6. Williams, hands down. Great soap at 89 cents a puck and it smells nice too.
  7. Two votes each and I am going to say why I ask.

I have a puck of Mama Bear Ylang Ylang that I don't like the scent at all. I am going to need to buy a new shave bowl shortly and I am thinking of what to fill the bowl with.
  8. Tabac for me. Although I have some Irisch Moos coming in, so that might change
  9. +1. Or colgate, if you can find it.
  10. Interesting Williams takes the lead. 3 Williams, 2 Van Der Hagen and a Tabac.
  11. Susies Bubbles olive oil based Dragon's Blood
  12. TSD soaps, my personal favorite is Bourbon Vanilla.
  13. Hmm, might order a TSD soap.
  14. Tabac for me...easy lather smooth shave and pretty inexpensive.
  15. 3 Williams, 2 Van Der Hagen, 2 Williams a Susie's and a TSD. Williams still wins thus far but the Van Der Hagen is interesting.
  16.

Boy, am I glad you excluded that!
  17. another Williams fan here...Tabac a close second.
  18. Truefitt and Hill Luxury soap for me
  19. Wool Fat. How has no one suggest Wool Fat?
  20. Em's line of soaps -- great lathering and skin care.
