It's true that I enjoy my DE shaves, but a straight shave puts me in such a great humour--and this TSD Lavender soap is magnificent. ;) :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TorYVReym-8&feature=related Today, a vintage video in black & white from Mikis Theodorakis. Hi Kaveh ,

I think you miss read there its 3 passes in total I just mentioned for which Pass I took which razor. just happend to feel like it. I have a little plate under the mirror installed and by chance have the 3 razors lying there with a blade in it. so I have no reason at all for doing that just happen to think the idea was good.

I did experience some razor burn which I never have so then I grab the subzero cocktail mix its the best invention ever by Joanna because I dont feel my face for 1 hour great burn (everything) killer instead of attacking just the burn I dont feel anything anymore its SERIOUS Antartica stuff.

I wonder if it will kill the weed between my pavement aswell...

I have been enjoying some of your shots aswell... keep them comming.

:happy102 :happy102 :happy102 :happy102 :happy102

Well Kaveh I promised you I'd use the Proraso shave soap, and today was the day. Surprisingly, the lather generated from the Proraso was far superior than that of Trumper's rose used yesterday. All in all a good shave.

  14. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

    Shavemac 22mm silvertip
    red tip/feather
    DR Harris Marlborough SS
    C O Bigelow AS (black)

First time using a red tip.....ever. Having recently picked one up in good shape, I figured I should give that type a try. Yeah, after hearing about em for years I wanted to experience the slightly aggressive shave that most mention having with this razor.

I could feel the blade doing it's job properly, even though the angle was different from my fatboy. The red tip head has a flatter profile, plus the weight and it's distribution isn't the same either. Took a little time getting used to the feel, but no problems. The shave was a very close one, but not quite as comfortable as I prefer. The aggressiveness level was almost like an Aristocrat (about a 5 on the gillette adjustable chart), lessened a bit by the lighter weight and distribution. Yeah, it felt like the head wasn't very heavy, which made for an evenly balanced feel. Personally, I like using a razor that's top heavy, but that's just me.

Anyway, A VERY close and pretty comfortable shave this morning,
    Martin

Bravo, Kaveh--AV makes me feel kind of disgusted too. How do you like the scent of the Noxzema cream?

I love it. Better than the competition. Proraso is second best.

Of course I like the smells of Tabac, Musk, Spice, Violet and Rose more, but they're a different animal.

You need to buy a bar of Yardley's English Rose Bath Soap or Truefitt & Hill Rose SC!

Right now the scent I most like is that of Arko Sticks - Turkish Delight, baby ;)
