Hey guys.. Just thought I'd jump in here. I'm running this group buy at SRP. The cost is high due to the high cost of the EO that goes into it. Pure Rose Bulgarian EO isn't cheap.. Not by a long shot.. That's one reason why this is a limited production run, and no something that's manufactured regularly. If you like a rose scented soap, and you want a strong scent, this is for you.. If not, then steer clear by all means! Thanks David
Hi Dave, I'm a member over at SRP also, and it's good to have you here. Heh, don't forget to register for the 'Newbie Giveaway' offer. Yeah, if you're real lucky, you might win a DE razor and blades! Oh, I hope you like sarcasm........ Looking forward to more of your posts, Martin
Thank you David. I would like to add that Essential oils can cause skin irritation on sensitive skin. If you have problems with skin irritations, you need to be cautious as well.
All of the soap makers say they use pure essential oils because they're the highest quality and that fragrance oils have been known to cause skin irritation, not the other way around.
Nah, essential oils can irritate as well. I don't know if fragrance oils are more likely to irritate more people, but essential oils can definitely do it. There have been a few that have irritated me - from QED, two of his fragrance oil soaps, Violetta and Wild Rose, burned the hell out of me. But even worse was his Bay Rum, which is essential oil based. That one really sucked, because it was the best smelling bay rum soap I have yet come across.
Cant wait to here the reviews on this stuff. I was a part of the neroli buy with MB and thank god I was able to sell it off during its newness phase. I think I only lost $10. I realized very quickly that paying that much for a EO glycerine soap was rediculous. The stuff even smells like tree limbs also? $48? Go after some other FO rose soaps which I would bet smell damn near close to the expensive stuff? This has got to be one of the most expensive shave soaps per ounce out there? Glycerine? Hmmm....hope it works out.
