Is this a Bostonian?

Picked this up the other day.. not sure if it's a Bostonian or a New Standard or.. ?

 

Someone correct me if I am wrong but that razor was in several sets. The name changed according to the set it is in. As I understand it that is a NEW Improved. Great shaver I have one that is a gold not silver tone.

 

That is my understanding as well. It is a NEW improved. The case makes it a NEW Standard, Bostonian, Algonquin, etc...

Beautiful. Just purchased a similar one myself and am impressed by the design and craftsmanship.

 

These guys are all pulling your leg. Gillette was trying to market this as a "Deluxe Tech", and it failed miserably. They're really worth more as scrap than anything, so if you want to send that pitiful thing to me, I'll take it to my local recycling facility and hopefully get .50 for it.

Well seeing that I don't currently have a "deluxe tech" I will quadruple that offer!

You would be correct.... I really do like that razor and have not shaved with it in forever.
