Can any one help me ? I'm looking for an empty rounded tube for traveling , for my 21 mm Finest shavemac brush .
Quick local solutions... empty pill bottle empty spice jar Put some holes in it (the pill bottle or spice jar) so the brush can dry after use
I went to my local Pharacy; asked them very nicely if they would sell me a pill bottle, explaining to them what I was looking for (brought my brush to show them). They went back,found the right size, and gave it to me for free . I drilled some holes in the top and bottom for air. Good luck, -Moe
Option 2 is buy a VDH or Burma Shave and don't worry about a tube. At under $5, if it only lasts a year as a travel brush, who cares? Of course, if you don't like boar the options presented are good also.
Actually, I picked up a Body Shop synthetic for traveling. It still cost only $10. As I understand, synthetic hairs don't have the same dryness issues.
I've seen them made from PVC pipe, the thin wall, schedule 20. Two end caps with holes drilled for venting.
I think the pill bottle idea is great, got to get one for myself now and drill holes in cap and bottom.
