You are correct, Sir. And you are the only one to notice it as 'Ol Sarge. Which tells me you're old enough to remember or a fine student of our fine Texas schools. Some of my best employees have been Red Raiders, by the way.
Awesome! I have not heard that one, especially considering the Aggies' rivalry with TTU is realtively new as compared to A&M-tu. I don't particularly like the RRs due to the regular beatings we get on the football field. Then again, we get regular beatings from everyone right now. Gig 'em. :happy088
I think TTU was fishing for a rivalry for years until UT favored a rivalry with OU, leaving A&M out in the cold and more receptive to the lesser rivalry with TTU. But that's only the amateur interpretation from someone who spent 6+ years at tech and never once went to a football game. (I did go to a Lubbock Cotton Kings hockey game once...) [edit] also, it never fails to amuse me that A&M guys refer to the University of Texas as TU. My older sister went to UT, my younger sister followed me to tech, one of my cousins went to tech, his sister went to A&M and then Tech's law school. I get all the angles.
Yeah, A&M traditions are hard to shake. By the way, to old school Aggies like me, it's tu, and not TU or UT. Lower case is less respectful.
We have hijacked the thread....happy102:happy102 Graduated from Tech in '94 but have been Red Raider since birth as both Mom and Dad went there and actually met on a blind date. When i write atm its always lower case so I know what you mean
It's all good, as long as you're a Texan. To everyone else, you're welcome to come and learn to become a Texan.
