Monday: Gorey's Chairman Ming Shi TTO/new Gillette Stainless Cerrus-SC Tabiano-AS gel Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Acqua di Selva cologne Although this shave was fast, it was still very enjoyable. This Cerrus cream is one of the cheapest brands in Germany, but it performs great--nice scent, rich lather, a good amount of menthol, and very soothing skincare.

The cheapest DE shave in Spain I did shave with these things on my 2 days trip. Mercadona shaving brush with stand(8.45 euros) Lea shaving stick(1 euros on general stores) Wilkinson DE with 5 blades(3.50 euros in Carrefour) Kinesia Artic 50ml after shave splash(0.50 cents general stores) Its mostly available in all Spain and the results are great.However I shaved with a BIC blade instead of the Wilkinson one. Today shave.(Monday) Kent BK8 Homemade soap(glycerin based) Ever Ready with GEM blade(2nd shave) Floid vigoroso after shave splash Weleda after shave balm Im a slant and GEM convert.Hard to beat those shaves but I have to try a straight and compare the results.

Atra cart. razor VDH Deluxe Boar KMF Patchouli cream Witch Hazel Fuzzy's favorite Family Dollar Spice AS I got up early and waited to shave because I needed to run to the Dollar store to pick up a couple of things. While there, I grabbed a bottle of their Spice version AS and a pack of Family Dollar Atra razor blades to try out. I honestly like both of them quite a bit. The KMF Patchouli was also a first and it did a fine job too. Lots of lather and a nice scent...good stuff today!

That's my limit. On to the next recipient! It's a sub-par soap, that for me, performs below Williams, VDH, etc.
Merkur Vision (@N) Feather (3) Merkur Mustache Trimmer Tweezerman Tom's of Maine Mint SC Aqua Velva Ice Blue If I'm careful, the Vision is an excellent razor, but even an ounce of slop will take off a pound of flesh. Got one little nick from dazing off for a moment. This was the first time using the mustache trimmer. I got it cheap cheap cheap and put off using it until today. I can see how it would be an excellent little accessory to shaving, but the biggest weakness is not the razor itself, but the horrendous Merkur blade that comes with it. It's sad, because I have an excellent defined line on my goatee for the first time in a while. Since there's no other blade available for this little razor (that I know of), I'll either have to hand strop or hone the blade before using it again. Luckily I picked up a DE hone not too long ago. Might be the perfect blade to test my skills with.

Lunes // 11/05/09 Pre Proraso Pre/Post "Kyle's Prep" Shave Merkur 34c w/ Astra Superior MWF Shaving Soap Rooney 3/1 Best Post T/H 1805 AS Balm Result: Excellent shave today. A smooth one pass with MWF fresh shipped from England! I had never used it before, and I have to say, I am very impressed with the results. The Astra is still performing wonderfully, and as a result of focusing more on perpendicular angle to the face, my one passes are getting closer and closer.
