1. What exactly is this blade?

    New or vintage?

I have one - thanks Corey ;) - and am scared to use it...
  2. Two of them are vintage, with vastly different reputations.

The red and black wrapper is 50s era. [IMG]

These are to be avoided at all costs.

The white and black are of late 70s, early 80s vintage. [IMG]

    These get much better reviews.
  3. I've got several of the black/red packs, haven't tried any yet, was just contemplating them this very afternoon
  4. O wow. I've the red and black - I'll give a whirl tonight. I don't like uncoated blades but I've tried several and they're not horrid.

    Nice wrapper!
  5. Hmmm....a thread about DE blades. Wonder what forum it goes in? Let's see, when I go to shave I put my DE blade in my Safety Razor. Not in my General, not that I have a general, cause I don't. :p
  6. you mean I've been doing it wrong?
    my poor General...

  9. I was wondering where to put this thread...

I almost went w/ Dirty Jokes.

  11. black and red

I received a black and red 'thin' Gillette blade and used it two times. It worked fine. I read that some other guy got more shaves than that from one. If a blade looks rusty, I wouldn't use one though.
