1. Night?
    Morning?

I'm having a hard time being on time for work.

Usually, I shower @ night and shave A.M, but I'm thinking about doing the opposite.

    What is your routine?
  2. About to go shower, then shave right now. It's morning here...
  3. Shower then shave, usually first thing in the morning. However, over summer break I may do that mid-morning instead.
  4. I tend to usally take my showers in the AM. that being said If I am shaving I will shower in the PM. Since I am new to the trade it takes me more time to get that "good" shave that I am looking for. The one time that I did shave in the AM I had to wake up super early so that I would have enough time to shower and shave. I felt like a girl trying to get ready. So from now on I have decided to shave at night, until my shaving routine has gotten figure out.
  5. On work days, I shower before work and shave in the shower. On days off, I shower whenever and also shave in the shower.
  6. I shower and shave in the morning before work. I find it to be a soothing time before the pressures of the day, almost zen-like in it's meditative quality. As I read in someone's signature, alarm clocks are adjustable.

  7. I shower twice a day (morning and evening) and only shave at mornings. When you get more practice you can shave in less than 10 minutes(3 pass shave).
  8. The "snooze" function is quite convenient though :D
  9. My wife complains that I am just as bad if not worse. However, she really doesn't know because I shower, shave, and all before she is even up in the morning.

Yup.. I think I was getting close to 5 minutes. However now that I am working on straights I am back to 20 minutes.
  10. I shower 1-3 times a day pending schedule yard work, etc. always shower/shave in the morning. If I was late for work, i'd just get up earlier.
  11. Helps to wake me up in the morning.
  12. Once a month, whether I need it nor not:happy102

Really, I do my shower/shave in the evenings.
  13. I'm an evening guy for shower and shave. I like to go to bed clean and the shave relaxes me, which helps me fall alsleep. I also like getting into bed smell like my aftershave, particularily the effect it has on the woman sleeping next to me.
  14. I'm a late afternoon/evening shower'er and shaver. I love being able to take my time and relax after a long day.
  15. I shower at the end of my day, sometimes morning, sometimes night as I work a 12 hr. swing shift. This is usually before I go to bed. I shave in the shower also. I don't know why, but I sleep better when I go to bed after a nice warm shower.

Glad I'm not the only one - my wife says I'm worse than a girl getting ready!

Like ThePossum says in his sig... alarm clocks are adjustable, no reason why you can't set it 10 minutes earlier! :happy088

I shower and shave before work - for 2 days in a row that's a 0345 wake up (used to be 0400 before my 'new' shaving routine) and a DE shave, then the next 2 days I don't go in until the afternoon, so I shower later in the morning, and straight razor shave since I have the extra time....

But I always use my shower as my prep and do a tag team shower/then/shave instead of one in the am and one in the pm. Plus, my stubble won't allow me to shave a night for the next day of work - I'd be 5 O'Clock shadow by 9am! :D
  18. Evening for me. It is a nice way to finish the day. Whatever cologne I apply after my shave, I wil also wear the next day.

  19. my thoughts exactly ...
  20. Like Teiste, I also shave in the mornings.

I regularly shaved in the mornings (with a cartridge-based razor for many years) before I switched to a DE, and it only takes me about an additional 5 minutes since I switched. So, I backed up my alarm by that amount and I've had no problems since then.
