Magic, when you say "Noxzema Shave Cream," are you referring to the canned or the tubed?

 

TGIF: Parker 91r / Schick Platinum Plus blade d2 / VDH Deluxe SS / VDH Badger Brush / Ivy Club Spice Aftershave

The Schick blade wasn't happy in the Lord Smart razor but LOVES the Parker. BBS in 2 passes. The Ivy Club Spice a/s is the Family Dollar version of Old Spice. Quite nice and dirt cheap.

 

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

Another wonderful shave using this Tech......very close and comfortable results.

Pretty good shave to finish out the week. The Kai blade performed reasonably well although I think the blue tip may be a bit too mild for my tastes. The Erasmic lathered up very nicely and I felt like the Pinaud complemented the cream because, to me, they both smell very similar to each other. Enjoy the weekend!!

  [*]Result: Great, great BBS shave and no blood. I really enjoy the days that I shave with Tabac soap or the cream. Just a great scent that both the wife and I love. Today also is the last day for a head shave. I think I am going to let the hair grow, what little there is up there.

Noxzema Medicated containing lanolin,aloe and glycerin among other things. Works better then any can stuff I have ever used including Edge gel,etc

Swiss Pitralon a/s (a little tacky, but managable after a couple of minutes. )

Result: After having finally figured out how to get a consistently great lather with Mama Bear's I decided to go with a cream and the Emillion today. Plenty of lather for 3 passes and touch-ups. Not 100% BBS, but 99% - I'm pretty fanatical about not leaving any rough patches but something always slips by. The great thing is that I've found that with the Slim and a little care I can do that with no blood or irritation.

Shave doesn't get much better!

I assume you're referring to the green can since you cite lanolin and aloe.

It's the best canned goo, IMO.

However, brush + proper lather is much better!
