Anothe smooth, comfortable shave. I can only get 3 shaves out of the Schick blades. Always smooth and comfortable, they just quit cutting the stubble. I can go over a rough spot a dozen times with no irritation but still rough. And that's in a Parke 91r, a very aggressive razor. Wierd

An extremely gratifying shave this morning, using yet another new to me razor. This one's the Canadian version, dated W2(1951), and it gave me the same effortless shave as the last two Techs I've tried. Actually, this one may even be a little milder, since I had to go over a few areas. It's also possible the blade may be getting a little dull, since I've used it in other razors. I'll try a fresh one for my next shave and see what happens.

Heh, I found there is one pitfall when using these Techs...one I can fall into even now after hundreds of shaves. Because this razor is so easy to use, I have to be careful not to do something dumb. With this thing, I can use amazingly looong strokes,(which I like), and the comfort is excellent for my face. I have to watch for myself becoming nonchalant...maybe even losing focus because of the shaving ease. Yeah, I do that with some razors from time to time, and it can turn out badly. Luckily, only one small 'wake up call' was needed early in my Tech career, and that brought things back into perspective. That was when I was finding out a feather wasn't right for me in this type of razor.

Anyway, I love this silly little Tech. I can see putting that into my very small regular rotation(the only other being my fatboy). I can't recommend these highly enough as an excellent beginners razor, as well as for the experienced members who don't care for an aggressive razor. The shave is very close.........surprisingly so. I partially credit the Iridium for that, since it seems to be a very sharp blade. Comfort wise.........just lovely. I believe some spontaneous faceturbation may be in the works for today.
