  4. Well...Heres to my first post in SoS

    Merkur 34C HD
    Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless
    10065 Omega Brush
    TSD Iced Mojito Cream
    T.N. Dickenson Witch Hazel
    Aqua Velva Blue Ice
Nivea After Shave Extra Soothing Balm - Sensitive Skin

This was my first shave without shave oil (my training wheels) and my second using TSD cream. Since my last shave was so far from being close I switch from using my fat handled tech to the HD. I could tell that I wasn't using oil when I started my first pass on my cheek, I could feel the blade was very close. But over all it wasn't bad, a DFS and only one weeper that didn't bleed. But I have some mild irritation on my chin, so I'll be back to the techs to work more on my technique.
  5. After a lot of work in garden and around the house, a hot shower with Dr Bronners Lavender Soap - very nice soap!

  12. Gold Lady Gillette
    Iridium Super
    Knotty Badger Best
    TSD Tropical Verbena Soap
    TSD Bergamot (sp?) ASM

I can't believe how many shaves I am getting out of these blades. Pretty impressive.
  13. Rodd, how aggressive are Lady Gillettes? What razor would you compare them to? The reason I ask is if they're, say, even fairly aggressive, women of the old must have had a tough time staying clean...
  14. "D" Day 65th Anniversay

    F2 Superspeed w/Derby
    Shavemac Horn D01
    Moss Scuttle
    Valobra Shave Stick
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue A/S

I didn't really need to shave today...but did so to relax and indulge. Nothing fancy though, just nice, clean and fresh!

Also, and more importantly, took the time to remember all those that fought for our freedom 65 years ago today and especially the 14,000 Canadian troops that stormed Juno Beach.

    Barbus-SC (from Slovakia)
    Arko Commando-AS gel
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Batsheva-EDT (from Israel)

An international shave today--my cream from Slovakia is fantastic, it has excellent lather, a nice clean scent, with a touch of lavender, and very care-giving. I received it in trade with a Gut-Rasiert gentleman. The Batsheva edt is very spicy, but nice. ;) :D Barbus cream looks like this:

    Edwin Jagger BBB
    Noxema sc

Still working on one WTG pass with the straight...a little careless and to small nicks to show for it...finished with the birth year superspeed and a "swede" blade (last day for that blade)...but a very smooth result...oh yes, and that Noxema is wonderful.
