They have started filming Tron 2 (My inner geek has been waiting years for this movie) but there is so little information out there about the cast, storyline, etc. I understand that timing is everything so this information will be released as the film nears theater release but now I read that it isn't scheduled for release until 2011. :mad:

From the little I've been able to glean, the name has gone from Tr2n to Tron 2.0 and now, just Tron. Personally, I won't care too much what it's called as long as the characters aren't moving around inside a Windows system :sick007 If they do, it'll be a short movie as the film will break half way through :happy102

Hey I remember the first Tron edit: I'm only 20 so I wasn't actually alive when the movie came out but I wouldn't consider myself a good geek if I wasn't familiar with the movie. edit 2: I just remembered I have a recording of the video games live orchestra playing one of the songs from Tron, it has surprsingly good music... I should go dig that up.
definitely both. I mean, how many folks under 30 get references to Revenge of the Nerds? yup. knowledge of Tron is a prerequisite for Geek Cred (tm).
