A few things that drifted in late last week and on Saturday. Found the brush on the bay, paid a little more than I was hoping, but it has a large handle, and I wanted to re-knot another handle. Turns out it's an old Simpson best badger, sometimes things just work out
bucket of TOBS Avocado made it to my house today...it was on back-order from WCS for awhile now...love the stuff.
I've been thinking about getting some of that as a way to get SWMBO into wet shaving. Have to let us know what you think of it.
It's a very good cream, the scent is a love hate type deal, Smells like super strong version of gain laundry detergent to me.

I liken it to fresh cut grass...or something along the lines of TSD's Sweetgrass. Moe, it's supposed to have avocado oil in it for a moisturizing agent, the scent isn't avocado itself. That throws a lot of people off, I think. Anyway, I've used it a good bit and it's a top shave cream for me. Not my favorite stuff- I actually think Kiss My Face Patchouli covers that- but it's in the top 3 for me.
I was lucky enough to be given a sample and the cut grass is a pretty good comparision definitely not an avocado smell. I thought it was very moisturizing and very protective IMO. I think I know what I will be using for tomorrow's shave.
These just came in from the UK. Got them off of a UK eBay dealer. I think I got a pretty good deal. I went soap stick crazy and I still have 3 La Toja sticks coming in from The Vintage Scent:

I had actually received on as a PIF from a buddy here. I've used it twice so far, and both times with irritation...:mad: It was great lather, it just irritated my skin....I'm going to wait a little while more and try it again. I'm glad I found that out before I ordered 3 sticks, though!
Haven't added anything to the shave den in some time now but could not resist throwing another tube on top of the already large stock pile of shave creams. I bought a tube of Tom's of Main shave cream, since forum members are telling me that its being discontinued why not. I guess its worth a little bit on the stock pile. My cell phone broke down last week so I had to replace it, I have ordered its repalcement which is a Virgin Mobile Samsung spf-m340. A photo of it is below:
