I just acquired a 1953 Tech Ball end. Loaded with a Feather and Proraso, I think this may be one of the best shaves I have achieved. Normally, Feathers and I don't get along when using my Slant Sledgehammer or long handled HD. Nor does it like me with various Gillette SS and adjustables. Perhaps the Tech's mild shave in conjunction with the Feather's sharpness is a great balance.
This is a combo I look forward to trying, once I feel comfortable enough to actually try a Feather!! I just so happen to have all parts of the combo already in place. Yay!!
I absolutely love Techs with sharp blades. I've been using a Q2'59 Tech with 7 o'clock Yellows this week - might be my new favorite combination.
