Have you done it? I'm not talking falling over drunk. Just under the influence. I've done it before as I like to shave at the same time every day. I have no problems doing this as I am probably extra carefull knowing the possible dissaster that could happen.
why would you shave being drunk??????its like asking you would It be safe to put a rattlesnake on my pants?Seriously, thats a funny question
if you do that make a video and post it in youtube...youre gonna be famous man! I dont drink either but I wouldnt shave being drunk, even if I feel that I can "control".
excellent question and analogy. there's no way in heck I would put a sharp object near my face if I'd had one too many.
This thread should be shutdown down immediately, before some nanny-stater introduces legislation requiring breathalizers with razors!
I enjoy shaving after a couple-three drinks. It's just additional relaxation - and yeah, I use a straight. I do not recommend you try this at home though. I'm an expert with mucho experience in this area Jordan
French and Belgian fencers are known to have a glass of wine before compitition. A SMALL amount of alcohol, such that most people don't even feel the effects, reduces tension and improves reflexes. The key thing here is if notice you've been drinking, you're past the point of improved reflexes. Now, I'm not sure how improved reflex time would help shaving, but that's the only reason I could see mixing alcohol and a razor blade to be a good thing.
It's been my experience that you only think that you're doing things well when you're drinking. A small glass of wine wouldn't be a big deal, but I definitely wouldn't be shaving if I'd had a few.
My only experience with razors and alcohol was not a good experience. I had one heck of a hangover and needed a rushed shave that morning. Nicked my nasal septum and because I still had alcohol in my blood it took 4 hours for it to stop bleeding. That was the last time I went out with friends on my birthday to a bar with free wine/wells/drafts.
