Frualse. There were a great many lousy movies made in the 1950's. I don't think the oughts have anything over on the fifties in that respect. On the other hand, movies today are more spectacularly bad. Oh, and they probably cost a lot more, both to create and to watch. Still, I get your point, more or less. I think Clint Eastwood's best movie was Gran Torino. The person below me would rather read a book than watch a movie.
