47' Gillette Super Speed Iridium Super Shavemac 177 Connaught Shaving Spearmint Cream Proraso Aftershvae Splash I used about three times the amount of cream I normally do (about an almond size dollap) when I use Connaught cream and got a great lather. For some reason I tend to think that because a cream is denser than normal you don't have to use as much which, I've learned through experience, doesn't seem to be the case.

Friday: Simpson PJ2 Super Knize shaving soap Merkur Futur w/ Super Iridium blade D.R. Harris Pink Clinique Post-Shave Healer Knize 10 Today was my first experiment with Knize shaving soap. It was a bit fussy to lather (ala Wool Fat) and the resulting lather was somewhat "airy." That said, the lather was slick and contributed to a decent shave. More testing is in order, perhaps with a little less water in the mix. The fragrance is very pleasant...not an exact rendition of K10, but very nice nonetheless.
