I cannot answer that question. Every day I use something else in my rotation, it pretty much becomes my new favorite. Speick, Irisch Moos, La Toja, Wilkinson, Palmolive....all fantastic sticks for me (I don't use bowl soaps, except my Institut Karite puck which I use as a stick and just haven't gotten around to milling it into a stick yet...)...I even have a vintage Gibbs No. 53 w/ Cold Cream stick that is awesome.....Lea and Bea sticks are OK....Arko - I haven't used enough yet but I really dig the scent....Erasmic (tallow) is good, too....

I feel like I'm missing some.......

Mitchell's Wool Fat. Love the post-shave softness that this soap provides.

Guys, are you getting any commision from the MWF company?:happy102:happy102
Gosh everybody complains about how to lather MWF is hard, how MWF is a boring soap with a boring scent but seems that everybody loves it!:D:D:D

-MWF isn't hard to lather, except with some hard waters
    -Great soap isn't boring
-The scent is wonderful, just very mild
-Unless you have bad water or are allergic to lanolin what's not to love?

Hmmm...can't make up my mind really.
I'm leaning towards GFT Limes...maybe MWF (got most of my "best shaves" from this one)...

However, every time I use VDH Deluxe, I think there is nothing in the world better. The lather is not the thickest, but the smoothness is just amazing, and the scent really becomes more appealing the more times I've used it.

I would be fine if there were no soaps left in the world except either Omega or VDH. But I have not tried TSD soap yet.:think002

Nobody knows, but when I post the 1st entry on newbies section I did receipt a lot of PM's:

    - 8 % AVCL.....sign for us
    - 12% HAVOC .....Hey guy, the AVCL sucks! sign for us
    - 89% Did you buy your Mitchell's wool fat ?

    :happy102:happy102:happy102

I am a newbie, but among the few choices (I am working to fix it) that I have, I prefer the "comptoir des savonniers" SS

I bought one this afternoon in a supermarket, tomorrow review of the shavestick. La Toja shavestick is in ALL the shops and supermarkets:D but I live in the country, no drugstore, supermarket or shop near my house.

Williams. It's getting harder to find in my area. All the local stores are stocking VDH- also a good soap- instead.

But I like my Williams soap.

Pre De Provence is a hidden gem. Really dont care for the travel tin but still will last at least 9 months to a year. It really is nice stuff!
