    Lord Super/new Sharp
    Italian Palmolive Menthol-SC
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Alt Innsbruck-AS

I haven't used my Lord Super razor in a long time, so I decided to this morning, and it gave me a damn good shave. It's definitely slightly more aggressive than a Ming Shi, but still quite gentle if you're careful. ;) :D

    @Kaveh--hey, nice haircut! ;)

Never hurts to try new things. You are right though, it's a very Chuck Liddell look (minus the Chinese characters tattooed on the side of your head.)

    ...

Got several samples from Colonial Drug, a store by which I wasn't terribly impressed, stuffy & congested.

Yes, they carry a great variety (no Trumper's) but much of it is out of stock and the mark-up is high.

I'll compare it to the Andover Shop (Andover, MA location), where the selection is comparatively limited, but everything is well-organized and the staff members are not only razor-sharp but strikingly engaging. Colonial Drug requires a good deal of browsing, searching nooks and crannies for this and that, while dealing with employees (I met two) who, for all intents and purposes, are devoid of social skills.

In Boston I like Louis - on Newbury Street; it stocks what I want and the store is a spectacle.

    II.

Colonial Drug had almost every Taylor's cream in stock, and I liked that because I'd hitherto only tried Eton College, Rose and Sandalwood - the last of which is astoundingly offputting. I do love Eton College and Rose, though, and the Almond, I've come to find out, is so-so.

Avocado has an interesting consistency and a fair scent - look forward to trying it on account of high praise here.

    III.

I love Agua Brava, which reminds me of Halston Z-14, with which I'd rather go on account of price and longevity of scent.

    IV.

US Yardley's Oatmeal-Almond has such a delicious scent it's once again my favorite bath soap. It's incredibly sweet, and I was hoping TOBS' Almond would bear a resemblance.

    I'll have to try Conk.

    Saturday Morning:

    Hot Shower/Hot Towel
1973 Gillette Super Adjustable (Set at 4)
    Swedish Gillette (Shave #3)
    Kent/Altesse Pure Badger
    TOBS Rose SC
    Harris Pink A/S
    TSD AS Milk
    Preferred Stock

I attended my buddies wedding today with my wife to be so I figured a nice rose set up would be a sensible idea. The TOBS lathers like a dream, no matter what scent. I'm still having trouble getting the right cream/water ratio though. The Super Adjustable felt a little bit more aggressive today than it did on Thursday. That may have been because of a three shave old blade but we'll never know. Harris Pink, although over priced, is a great match to the TOBS Rose SC. My results today were par for the course. Looking forward to something a little bit better next week perhaps.

I did - but it did not last very long. Thanks for your recommendations for my
shopping list. I think my son bought all the La Toja products that the store in Santiago had in stock.
