I enjoy many things. Currently can't afford my old hobbies.
I used to enjoy dinghy sailing but sold the boat to help fund some house renovations. My dinghy paid for two planks of wood and some screws I think. Building is not cheap.
I would like to buy something like a cheap preferably fibreglass Mirror, Heron or Gull dinghy and take the kids sailing when they are a bit older.

What are your prized pieces on the watches and fountains?

I'd love to go sailing. Never been. But, I'd probably become addicted, like I have to many other things and create an expensive hobby.

My prized piece on the watch is a Patek Philippe Calatrava (early 50`s), that I inheret from my father. Further I have an Omega Seamaster for daily use and a dozen or so Swatches.

On the fountain pens it will be a Parker Duofold from 1952 (also from my father), a Duofold International (my daily user) and some Pelikans (M400, M600, M800)

Nice. I have a 1950's Waltham that was my grandfather's and a Tag. A few Invictas as well. A Wenger, a few others I can't think of this early in the morning...Those are the best ones. Plenty of others that mean a lot to me or look great.

Fountains I have a number of Watermans and a Cross or two. A Sensa as well, which is very nice. My daily is a black laquer Waterman, slimmer style...not W's fat ones. I have a Harley Davidson Waterman fountain and the classic green w/ gold trim fat style.

I've never lost money on a boat. Just got to keep an eye out for second hand bargains.

If you lived closer and I had a boat I would take you for a trip.

Golf and I put together my own clubs.
Slowly teaching myself to play the guitar.
    Cigars
    Scroll sawing

Unfortunately, I have little time for any of these things this year due to work. What little free time I have has been spent reading and posting here. My family thinks I'm a bit coo coo. :whacky011

I am a "golfer". Not any good at all, but enjoy going out and having a good time with friends on the course. Don't do it as much as I used to. Impressive on putting together your own clubs. Maybe you should try a razor??
