After perusing the many posts and the many different views and feelings people have for colognes.
I was wondering what is the most you have ever paid for a cologne and what was the brand?:signs002

And did it live up to your expectations?

The most I´ve paid is about 70 Pounds for the Penhaligon´s Racquets cologne 100ml.

And in my opinion it´s worth it, I use it for over a decade now and had many refills ever since :D

Nearly bought Creed Irish Green Tweed and Acqua di Parma last weekend, both 105Euros. It will probably be cheaper in the UK, so will get them there.

    $75 for T&H 1805
I find it worth it considering how slowly I'm going through the bottle. I expect it to last at least 2 years wearing it about 5 days a week. I do wear it lightly, but that's what I prefer. I'll say I did get the T&H sample pack first so I knew what I was getting. I'd recommend doing the same for anything over about $40, and even for the cheaper $30-40 stuff I'd at least try a spray at the store and see how it dries down on you.

I think I have paid $200 for different Creed scents. I generally pay about $120 or less for Santa Maria Novella, Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier, L'Artisan and few others.

$30 bucks....maybe. Colognes are not my "thing". I enjoy stuff like Old Spice and Brut and they're inexpensive. Olafurson gave me some very nice samples of Chanel stuff awhile back, but I have yet to pull the trigger on buying anything ($70 range).

The most I have spent on any one cologne is well over $1,500 for countless bottles of Realm by Erox. It has been the backbone of my cologne rotation for about 15 years now, since it was first introduced in the mid-90s.

Yes, it has Human Pheromones in it. No, the pheromones are not just a gimmick. And besides, even without them, the stuff just smells really nice.

When I first started buying it, it was $60+tax for a 50ml spray bottle, and you could only buy it at Macy's. Shopping around on the internet, now I can buy 100ml for under $20 shipped.

I've tried countless other colognes, both with and without pheromones, but Realm is the one I keep coming back to.

Around $80 for Canali Black Diamond. I like it quite a bit, but to me it smells a lot like the original Canali which costs less.

Well its a vaulted scent now. It was 8.4 oz so all in all it worked out. Only way to get the scent unless you happen to find it...is to write to Oliver Creed and ask him for a bottle

I would hate rate to price on a quality of a cologne because honestly the correlation is nada. I have a few bottles of Penhaligons (50ml only), decants of Floris, creed, various others. Price doesnt seem to have an effect on the overall quality or fragrance of a cologne. Yes.....Penhaligons BB is heavenly and is a true blend of the ages and most English Ferns are just heavenly.....go Trumpers!

Basically....cost means nothing. Absolutely nothing. Yes I love some high rolling frag's but there are plenty of the low rollers that do just fine......Old Spice, English leather, Aqua Velva(yes all aftershaves but still!)

Go to Marshalls or TJ Maxx and find yourself some low priced goodies. There is a gentleman from badger and blade.....Rorchuck? Love the name;) offers some great deals on samples of some high quality fragrances. Creed Virgin Island Water is just heavenly!

Ill tell you what one of my cheapest...best scents are..

Pinaud Clubman. I wear that as a cologne sometimes. I would buy Clubman in aftershave/cologne/bathbar/deodorant/wash powder if i could :)

I think the most I've spent (by volume) is on Acqua di Parma. I can't recall off-hand how much it cost.

About 50 dollars for Eternity for Men. To me, that's expensive for some liquid in a little bottle.

Acqua di Gio 200 ml. 90 euros,...not too expensive, but Globe of Rochas was about 110€ x 100ml. ...... Mont Blanc's Individuel and Loewe's SOLO are both expensive solo is 95€x 125ml. and Individuel is 30€ x 50ml
