Yesterday's shave was so wonderful I decided to repeat everything except for the EdT. I felt like sniffing some Racquets, and that was a good choice for this morning.

Man, I'm always somewhat surprised when I return to this razor/blade combo, after using other razors and blades for a little while. This set up is just amazing for me, and when I go back to it I once again realize what a truly excellent shave is like. The perfect razor, set to the perfect #, using a perfect blade. Took a while to get to that point, but well worth the effort.

Seriously, I don't feel the blade on my face at all, and the fatboy just glides along without effort or resistance. I can hear the whiskers being whacked, but can't feel it. I like having very litle feedback from the razor itself, if that makes sense.

A cheap and easy BBS, this Men-U (an Omega renamed) is working better .....and it loves the "La Toja" soap.....I put the shavestick in a bowl, I prefer to have the soaps in bowls...

Given that the temperatures in the last week of winter here in Queensland have been unseasonally warm, I thought I'd go with the 'Freeziest' shave I could. I love Proraso products, they consistently impress me and are great value.

Haven't used a BIC in some time, a shame considering the company turns out one of the best blades out there.

Arko on Arko's overkill as I think each product does well on its own and find superlathering anything superfluous, but what the hell!

High-quality and cheap, they can't be beat.

They're always in my top three.

Right now, I'm all about Derbys and Dorco ST-301s, the latter of which last two face shaves but they did wonders while they're working.

My first run with the Mühle R89 and it works great! A real BBS shave, but for some reason my technique is a bit off...... The alum and the splash were more stinging that usual

 

Thanks, but I lost the focus, the Men-U is from an ebay seller from England, it's an Omega, but I liked more everyday, it´s becoming a lather machine......and it loves the soap of La Toja....

I have putted the stick of La Toja in a bowl,....and works great for me, I prefer to lather this way.

There really isn't any way I could have shaved closer this morning--the Lord Super is a master performer. With a new 7 AM, even 1 pass would be enough, but I did 2, just for the enjoyment!
