Thanks for all the welcome posts folks! Sailor, Melbourne is unique as it is one of the most spread out cities in the world-I live 65kms from the city centre on the doorstep of surf beaches and bushland, and yet I'm considered to be just outside the metropolitan area. And yes, Tim Tams are completely awesome and horribly addictive. Vegemite is....an acquired taste. I love it, my kids hate it. Great on toast for breakfast.....oh yeah! Can you tell me if this is true sir? I heard that in Australia that the women go crazy for american men and that our accent in Australia is as charming as yours is over here. Any truth to this fact?
