Hi Rene, after reading your post I have used my SOTD to give a chance to the 91R,.....result,...no chance, is defective,....MY 91R,....it has a problem with the adjust, the handle screws more than needed and the razor becomes less agressive than a ¨Merkur 33C ....I have screwed less the handle, and the razor has done a fantastic shave.....but I don't want to use it, i'll try to return it to the seller

    Today.....Rene clone :D

    Men-Ü boar
    Parker 91R + RPIP (1st)
    La Toja Gel Limpiador
La Toja Shavestick in a bowl
    La Toja sensitive ASB

Finally, ... the "La Toja" SS, the lather consistency is perfect, well chosen Rene :)....it always give me great shaving experience. What about the Semogue 730HD?

    Saturday 9/5 . . .

    • [*]Prep: Rite Aid Skin Cleansing Cream & Hot Towel
[*]Brush: The "Dana" Brush an Ever Ready 50 N boar
[*]Soap: Honeybee Spa's Ye Old Barbershop
      [*]Razor: '21 Gillette Goodwill
      [*]Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock SharpEdge (shave 14)
[*]A/S: Thayer's Rose Petal Witch Hazel & SCS Savory Rose ASM
[*]EDT: Nine Flags Aromatic Tabac from Brazil

[*]Result: A fine BBS shave today without the Oil/Touch Up pass. I had not shaved in two days and when I do finally shave it seems that I get a great shave without the oil pass. Surprising thing is that the blade was on shave 14. No blood today just a great smooth and comfortable shave.

    SATURDAY

    Gillette Gold Tech ball handle
    Derby/Day 3
    Kell's Ultra Aloe & Lime
    VDH Deluxe Boar
    Panama Jack Green Aloe
    Black Suede After Shave

  10. After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

    vintage Rooney badger(small scruffy knot)
    1946-47 Aristocrat/Iridium
    Penhaligons Racquets SC
    Lucky Tiger AS
    Tom Ford 'Grey Vetiver' EdP

Tried another 1946 Aristocrat this morning, and this one's the most aggressive of the 3-4 others I've used in the past. The shave was extremely close, but I felt the blade more than I expected to. Funny how razors have their own personality sometimes. I was figuring on a milder experience, although I still enjoyed myself this morning.

Man, I can't believe how well this silly little brush works..........almost as good as my Shavemac. I think maybe the shorter loft might help whip the lather up easier, but who knows. I can't imagine this knot being larger than 18mm or so, but it sure does the trick.

Anyway, a nice way to start my day........BBS results.

Ming Shi TTO/7 AM day 2
    Alando-SC
    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer
    Grey Flannel-AS

A quick shave this morning, but it still turned out to be a good one. I get a very good result with the 7 AM blades--I can't say enough praises about them. By the way, this Alando cream is so cheap in Germany, but it's fantastic! ;) :D

I think this may have been my coldest shave ever, what a great way to get the eyes open and start the day! Too bad I can't shave at work, that would help to keep the eyes open at 3am! :D
