I think that the Muhle and the Edwin Jagger use the same head design, but they didn't make this head in Solingen or Germany, but Merkur makes its razors in Solingen. Is there a thread that discusses the manufacture of the heads? Yes, Merkur is made in Germany, I know. I'm more than just a pretty face.

I have heard that it is a collaborative effort between the two companies. Took me a bit to find pictures at similar angles, but hopefully this helps. The Merkur on the left, Muhle on the right. The EJ/Muhle head is thicker in the center, a bit heavier. Other than that, they look pretty much the same. The open combs are pretty difficult to see the difference in. I have one of each of those here, the only difference I can see is that the finishing is better on the Muhle.

happy102 Sure you know better than me the merkur razor happy102 I have no pretty face I have search information about the Mühle and EJ heads .... but they not are made in Germany... in this way Merkur it's not the supplier, IMHO.
