Here is one for the collectors among us . Pictures show two British Aristocrat #15 Open Combs razors 1st image style has a straight bar /blade slot - this looks older The other has a pair of "T" style wings on the end of the straight bar / blade slot that offers a more positive locking mechanism Can anyone date these slight differences and or let us know if they appear on any other TTO's from this era ?
Interesting,I've never seen a 15 without "wings" before.I'm sure Achim or Guido will chip in with an answer though.
Seen a post somewhere else describing the same sort of thing on an Aristocrat Jr from 1948/49/50 - straight bar, notched bar and T-bar... I'll have a think about where it might have been...
I´ve no declaration. I believe without wings is older. All my Ad´s from 1936-1938 shows him without wings. All my british Aristocrat´s from this time have the wings include the gold #19. Only my silver plated british and french set have this razor without the wings
