Although this shave was fast, it still came out very good. De Vergulde Hand has always been a top favorite soap of mine--I absolutely love the lather, scent and skincare of it!

Haci Sakr, Turkish, makes an excellent line of bath soaps - 200mg a bar, incredibly hard-milled, highly-perfumed and very inexpensive. While I love Rose scents above all, this make's Lilac beats its rose by a long shot.

The Lidocaine-menthol aloe gel was a momentous disappointment. I saw it while shopping the other day, looked at the back of the pack, liked the ingredients and bought it (saving the receipt ). I thought it'd be something of a poorman's version of Anthony Logistics Razor Burn Relief, which makes you feel like Scarface when he slams his face into a mountain of coke, but this gel is weak - doesn't create that numb-you-up-cool-you-down sensation, so back to the store it goes!

It's been a long time since I shaved with this razor. Perhaps I've judged it a bit too harshly. I guess by the end of the week I'll know for sure. I'm planning 4 shaves this week with my beleagured Slim Adjustable (always set at 9 BTW). Two passes with a new blade produced a DFS.

The Anthony Logistics Ingrown Hair Relief is my regular overnight irritation remedy. Works better than anything else I've tried and is completely worth the 26 beans, IMO. It speeds up the healing process for me by at least a day, making it more possible for me to shave every other day.

Was kind of a rough shave. I think it was my fault, first shave with the Friodur.
The NOS LaToja is a excellent soap. It's scent reminds me on Cella.
The 365 is made by Gillette India. Needs more tests to create my opinion about it.
Adam is a czech balm. Nice but nothing special.

Fast shave with mixed results. The Erasmic is very nice. Now I just need a bowl to complete the Line.
Hametum S is a German cream with a lot of Witch Hazel (Hamamelis).

Yesterday's shave was so nice I decided to double up with one exception...I used the Rooney 3/1 this time. The Rooney 3/1 is perfect for face lathering and I got plenty of creamy lather from the puck of Tabac. Another excellent shave!
