JoAnna, your soaps are fantastic. They smell great, they lather great, they shave great. So I got to thinking... Might you consider a TSD Soap of the Month club? People could pay a membership fee good for six months or a year and once a month receive a soap or cream of your choosing at a slightly reduced rate. You could go, what?, 8-10 years and not send out the same scent twice? I love it! Now I'm not a soap maker or a businesses entrepreneur, nor have I played one on TV, so I don't know if this would be something you would have the time or resources to do. It's just a thought. Would anybody else out there be interested in something like this?
That's not a "NO", so I guess it's in the realm of possibility (I hope, I hope). Anyone else interested? Any suggestions that might help JoAnna figure shipping? Come on, all. It'd be a great way to help support The Den.
Love the idea and I would join, but the soaps last me a lot longer then a month so I would and up with way to much soap after awhile. So maybe 4 or 5 soaps a year club?
I actually had this same idea the other day when I was flipping through a cigar mag advertising a cigar of the month club. It could even be a couple different product samples per month with matching or complimentary scents. I'd be interested.
I agree with Brad :happy088 The soaps last waaaaaaaaaay longer than a month and to stack the cabinet with that much soaps would be a little problem in the domestic household :happy102 Say, 4 soaps a year or something would be nice I think! And I agree with JoAnna that the shipping factor ca be an issue...... I live on the other side of the big water and the shippingcost is quite expensive.......
Good idea, but I think a full size soap/SC would be too much each month. Maybe sample sizes would be better as far as amounts and would keep shipping costs down too.
It's a great idea and I'd certainly be interested. I also suggest 4 to 6 per year. Could they be mailed in a small padded envelope for a reasonable cost? Can it be done by second class mail? Seems everyone wants to use the Flat Rate boxes and the PO surely pushes that but Flat Rate is only economical if it fits and it's HEAVY. Surely our non CONUS friends should be included so could the additional shipping costs be added to those memberships? Any other thoughts or suggestions out there? Seems like the shipping issue is the only snag so far?
How about exclusive scents, that soap of the month members would vote on? I'm thinking I could work the cost of shipping into the total cost. Probably go first class shipping. If you wanted, we could either go with a special tub (maybe a low profile tin), or even no tub?
I don't need a special tub, if it will help keep cost down. I do like the idea of the once-a-month sample size.
The special tub was an idea to keep cost down actually. The sample size isn't really an option. Sorry. Samples take more time than a full size.

They need to be menthol too lol, after I used your menthol sub zero I think I will always have to use menthol now. So many options but if you can work it out in a way that I get a little surprise every couple months that I forget about I know im in. Also i would love a special tub that said TSD soap of the month club. It makes me feel special lol.
I would be intrested to join, even if Im on the wrong side of the big lake.. I think quarterly with exclusive scents in a special tin would be super.. GO FOR IT !!
Now there's an idea! Not necessarily the exclusive scents (as there are already so many of them), but a special collector's tin for TSD Soap-of-the-Quarter members only.
Even if you just get the tub or dish of some sorts once you join then just get a puck every 4 months that would be great. I enjoy having exclusive things, but it has to say TSD soap of the ______ club somewhere on it or something of the sorts.
