I'm not reading anything else in this thread until my soap comes in! If Bill got his today, I should (hopefully) be getting mine in tomorrow. Gotta love the postal service in Chi-town...
I received my soap which does smell great and being as this is my first TSD soap i am very excited to try it. unfortunately i will have to take it out of its nice little pitri dish and relocate it somewhere as my pitri dish was shattered. the lid was completely shattered, but held together by the lovely label. and the bottom was cracked as well. but no damage to the soap at. Gotta love the post office
Just received the first soap. Smells awesome! Can't wait to try it out later this week since I already shaved today. Again thanks for doing this. :signs107
Love the scent choice. I lathered up just for the fun of it even though I shaved this morning. I didn't shave though just wanted to smell it on me.
Smells great. Still trying to deciper all the base notes. Like most others I shaved before the mailman made it here but I am now looking forward to tomorrow.
Wonder if they tried to put it through the 1st Class machines. They aren't suppose to from what I understand. I paid for 1st Class Package, which costs more than regular 1st Class. Anyone else have a broken dish? Glad everyone likes the scent so far. I can provide the fragrance notes, if anyone wants them.

Love the new scent JoAnna! The new scent was passed around for all to sample at the supper table tonight, and all highly approve, especially Amy who had to open it for a whiff no fewer than 5 times! Each time followed by, Mmmmmmm, that smells so good!
WOW! What a fantastic scent!! It lathered up thick and creamy. Very slick and very nice cushion. JoAnna, your soaps are absolutely wonderful!!
Shave with it last night and as this was my first time using a soap other than VDH i must say i was very impressed by the quality of your soaps Joanna. I have a beard so i really only shave parts of my cheeks and my neck. My neck is usually a problem area, but last night = BBS
Shaved with it this morning, and I've got to say that I'm happy with the results. The fragrance isn't the kind of thing I would typically try, but isn't that what the SOtQ is all about? My recommendation, finish your shave with a bay rum splash the scents go really well together. Great scent choice, great soap. Is it May yet?
compliments to the chef! I enjoyed my new soap this morning. When I got it yesterday it looked like an experiment from one of my old microbiology classes and smelled like a perfumed candle. When I let her rip this morning I was pleasantly surprised. Great lather, great smell. The best thing about is that my skin is really soft and moist. I do not use colognes so it's nice that I can still smell it 4 hours after shaving. Bravo Joanna ( I think I spelled it right this time). I can't wait unitl the next quarter. The scent is extremely familiar from something in my childhood (provoking something pleasant) but I cannot place it. What's in it?
Agreed. Wondered if I'd like shaving with the scent, but I actually really did! I chose to follow with Pitralon (not sure if Austrian or Swiss.) Not an a/s I use very often but it turned out to be a very good combination! Decent choice of containers to be sure. The scent does indeed have more staying power than that of many soaps, even through the Pitralon (so it's a good thing they're working well together!) Great job Joanna!
Mine actually did come in yesterday, I just had to leave for work before it got here. I can't wait to give it a try today! I love the scent!
