I scored on some Bigelow yesterday. I saw a post here that the B&BW had a buy 2 get 2 free sale. My wife was out running around shopping and I called down B&BW to see if they had any and low and behold they had 10 large tubes. So I called up my lovely wife and she scooped up four large tubes for the price of two!!!!

Menthol Monday's are the best!


Hot shower
Neutrogena Face wash / with Menthol
Hot Towel Face compress
51 Gillette Tech with Black plastic handle Astra blade Day 1
TSD Iced SubZero soap w/ C.O. Bigelow cream for superlather (couldn't decide on either the soap or the cream )
cold water rinse and cold towel compress.

This was my first shave with a Tech. It really did well - I like the razor the plastic handle could have a little more heft to it.

 

Razor: Rolls Razor Imperial 2
Brush: Omega 599
Soap: Olivia Seife Rollingstone
AS: AII Osage

M-Bombed some Lime (mmmm lime :drool) Wheat cream, hit up the Thayers/Osage rub mix witch hazel, and finished it all off with some Double Iced Lime Splash! :freezing :freezing :freezing

Plus I better add that I also used some Iced SubZero **es*a*e Balm, since we have established the fact that it is an Iced Subzero product.

 

Kent Cream and some frosty TSD Lime with da Bomb made this morning a freezy one!

Thank goodness for Menthol Mondays!

 

No menthol in the shave today...but generic AV Ice blue splash before work. very nice!

 

Anyone who likes menthol owes it to himself to try some of the TSD store's M-Bomb -- it's awesome stuff! Now, every day is a menthol day!

Today's menthol products:

Shampoo - Pert Plus Fresh
Cream - C. O. Bigelow
AS - Osage Rub

I added M Bomb as follows:

3 drops to the shampoo for some extra frosty-ness
2 drops to my Brut After Shave

Add the ice water I use after my rinse from the final pass, and I had a very :anifrozen:anifrozen:anifrozen Menthol Monday!







(But I'm not addicted. I can quit any time )

 

:think002 I use Equate Mint shampoo, but I never thought of adding the M-Bomb to it......... till now.

I was in the city last week and dropped by Atlanta Barber Supply and picked up a bottle of Osage Rub. Enough said. :freezing Been mentholated ever since...double on Mondays.:anifrozen

 

Another Menthol Monday is upon us!

Menthol used in today's shave:

TSD ISZ PSB applied just before entering the shower
Pert Plus Fresh shampoo
4 drops of M Bomb with my shave soap
Osage Rub

The cooling sensation is great, but I have yet to have it last for longer than 10-15 minutes. Sure, it's nice while it lasts, but it sounds like it goes on throughout the day for some of you guys. What's your secret? Maybe I need to stash a bottle of the Bomb or Osage Rub in my drawer at work and sneak a couple of "nips" during the day :happy102!

It still seems like the menthol is masking some of the scent of my soap :mad:.

 

Even with my over mentholated stuff I only seem to get an hour max.

 

I tend to agree. When I use the M Bomb, the scent of my soap tends to get lost in the menthol. Everything kinda smells the same.

 

Guys, try showering with this, and put icicles in your face and body---YEAHHHHHHHHH!

 

This is the first I've heard of this product. I'll have to try to find some.
