This is the second flea market score from Saturday and I must say it vastly exceeded expectations. The C.O.B and Aqua Velva were a nice menthol wake up. Great shave this morning.

My wife picked up a small sample bottle of the Redken for me, knowing I like menthol, and stuffed it into my Christmas Stocking. Very nice lather and scent. A little short on the menthol, though. It's there, just not as much as I've become accustomed to with four drops of M Bomb in my shampoo.

I have been experimenting with AS samples since I started wetshaves a few weeks ago. So, I liberally splashed on some Baxter of California AS balm this morning. Holy iceburgs! :freezing I had no idea this was a menthol product! Looked at the label. Yep. It's in there. It felt appropriate that this accidental menthol experience happened on a Monday.
