They are a rough indication of how many posts you've made. Every now and then, as you pass a posting milestone, your title will change. As far as I know, they have no significance beyond what you read into them.

You can scroll through the member list and get an idea of what titles are out there and roughly when they change... There used to be a place in south-central Pennsylvania that had great food, I mean real homestyle cooking, but their name was the Keystone Kountry Kitchen. Which does yield the unfortunate moniker of "KKK." They never intended any harm, but wow, did we get endless mileage out of that one. I think we have a similar case here. "Keratin Kleaving Krazies?" Fine. But there are clans, and then there's the Klan. I'm not particularly Politically Correct, but let's stick to the lower case "clan," please. Besides, sticking to the point of the original post, such tomfoolery can bring about a rather unfortunate "custom title." I don't know how, but I have seen it happen.
Well, members who have participated in the community and contributed a great deal have been known to somehow get assigned a special title by forces unknown Special titles - assigned by us moderators - are a privilege and have to be earned. :happy088
