well...if your looking for slickness..creames win...but if you're on a budget and want what works go with the canned stuff as many of our gents use em..for me..canned goo is too thick..creames tend to lather thinner ;-)..OR buy a sample of each n compare!
If it's too much trouble to check out the TSD store... then burn some gas and head over to Rite-Aid if you must. Look high and spot the Noxzema red can and then look lower and spot the Real Shave Company tubed creams - as much as I like the legacy Noxzema shaving products - select one of the RSC creams and be on your way. (Though you can also use the Noxzema goo just as a pre-shave beard treatment if you don't want to rely on it for the entire shave.)
Hi, I live in Turkey. I used a Nivea shaving cream but to me it is not better than an Arko shaving foam with lavender oil. I get a burn feeling with Nivea and with Arko it takes too much time to shave...
Btw I paid Nivea shaving cream $2.5 and Arko stick $0.5 in the local store. It seems they're 4 folds expensive outside Turkey..
Both. I haven't decided between the two and have gone back and forth. I really like menthol blast, so right now I'm enjoying a TSD sample SubZero shaving soap usually with a dash of CO Begelow shave cream.
Shaving cream is a million times better than the canned foam. The canned foam, particularly the goo-in-a-can, is darned expensive, too. Why pay a lot of money to get a second-rate shave when a great shave costs a lot less?
The canned stuff is good for keeping steam off mirrors I hear, good for some practical jokes as well but thats about it in my opinion. The nice scents do it for me. Try and find a sandal wood scent can of shave goo or any other nice smell.
I do hear good things about the canned Aveeno Therapeutic Shaving Gel. But I rather enjoy using my collection of wet-shaving creams and soaps.
