Can someone please point me to the posts regarding the birth of these two factions? I see the "daily bump", and the poll (that started it all?), but no "Genesis". Are these "secret cabals" wherein it would be best to keep my yap shut lest I meet with an "unfortunate incident"? It seems somewhat necessary to pick a side, and I do know where I belong: If I get a great, irritation-free, non-bleeding shave? AV it is! If I get a bad, irritated, nicked-to-hell-and-gone mess of a shave? The AV is a reminder to pay more attention next time! Semper Velva! Velva Fidelis!
Although H.A.V.O.C. and AVCL are more open now, their roots can both be traced through the shadows of history to the Illuminati. The AVCL are a modern rebel group of Freedom Fighters who split off to spread the message to the world that all is not lost and you can be freed from the chains of AV slavery. H.A.V.O.C. members have continued their quest of behind the scenes aftershave world domination. Alas, these poor souls have never seen the light and dwell in the past glories of secret AV societydom.
HAVOC it is, then! The AVCL seems like one o' them upstart organizations that embrace change just for the sake of changing. Wanna measure their guns in 'mm' instead of 'caliber', their engines in 'liters' versus 'cubic inches', soft-tipped darts, plastic Tonka trucks, and the "new" Darren on Bewitched.
