Nice and close. Love the Tabac! Smooth and irritation free with the MM OC. The brush was a bit prickly compared to my other badgers. That was the only thing that kept this shave from getting a 5. And if that's the only thing, I'm getting some really great shaves!

An absolutely fantastic shave. The Ehsan and Irisch Moos teamed up to generate loads of lather and the Futur with a previously used Iridium Blade mowed down the stubble like a hot knife going through butter. The Shaving Shop aftershave was the cherry on the sundae...the perfect finish to the perfect shave.

The shave itself went very well, would have been a solid 4 star DFS, but I snagged a tiny mole on my neck when I wasn't paying attention, and darned if I didn't almost bleed out. Haha, not really, but no amount of styptic pencil would staunch the flow... had to go the old school tissue paper route, and went through about 20 sheets of that as is. Oh well, at least I felt tough afterwards.

As for the post-shave bizness... I got a shipment in on monday containing an array of Pinaud Clubman aftershaves, plus my first bottle of Osage Rub. The Osage is insane as an aftershave. At first it was like, burning napalm, then the wave of cool hit and i decided I do like it... but its not gonna be an everyday thing. The pinaud musk is pretty stellar, though its hard to say how it varies from the original clubman (which is also great). I guess i'd say its a hair "warmer" in scent, a touch more of an 'amber' note. All in all, still a good shave despite the bloodshed.
