Here's my shave today. Gillette double ring Gillette Swede blade (first shave) Custom made "The Churchill" brush (there is a Winston Churchill coin embedded in the base) Castle Forbes Lime cream Local potter made brush scuttle Old Spice vintage Lime Cologne Caswell and Massey Lime talc We're currently in Autum in Melbourne and I'm moving to more woody / leather / tobacco scents but it's quite warm today so I thought I'd take the opportunity to use some of the summer scents (love the lime).

Saturday: Omega Wooden Handle Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 3 Five Fives-SC (from Egypt) Lubriderm unscented moisturizer Alt Innsbruck-AS Chabrawichi 555-Cologne (from Egypt) This morning, my shave theme was from Egypt. Five Fives is a very nice cream, with a refreshing lemony scent, and a good cooling effect, and the lather is thick and rich--I like it a lot. The Alt Innsbruck gave me a great chilling punch after my shave.

Great Saturday Shave Hot Shower Glycerin Pre-shave Boker Red Injun #102 Semogue 1305 Arko Shavestick Corn Huskers Lotion Aqua Velva Classic Acqua Di Gio EdT Fantastic shave! Having a favorite razor is rather like having a favorite kid but if I had to pick one, this would probably be it. The edge only seems to improve with use. Got BBS in 2 passes N-S and then S-N. My face literally feels like I'm 6 years old.
Saturday, April 17, 2010 Razor: Merkur Futur Blade: Super Iridium Brush: Simfix Grosvenor LE Two Band Super Soap: Arko Shave Stick A/S: Generic Witch Hazel, Pre de Provence Balm This morning's shave was my first use of an Arko shave stick. I can see why this product has so many fans--while the scent doesn't really ring my bell, it's not really offensive, either, and the stick performs admirably. The Simfix Grosvenor worked up a nice lather on my face, and the Futur sliced off the whiskers efficiently. The shave was BBS and left my face feeling fine (I am fortunate in not having a particularly sensitive face). As an added measure, I almost always use witch hazel and an aftershave balm or splash. Now, several hours later, my face is still feeling smooth and comfortable. I have been using splashes more as the weather warms up, but today is rather cool, and the PdP balm provided a great finish.
-Fatboy -Wilksinson Sword blade -Mama Bear's Lime Ice SS -Badger Brush with wood handle -Alum Block -Lab Series AS After a bunch of Slant days I got spoiled. It seemed to take a lot more work in the mop up to get it smooth-even at 7. For my anniversary (22 years) I wanted BBS-and got it. That Lab series makes my face smoother than any other AS I've used.
Shave Of The Day - April 17th Hot Shower E.J. Badger Brush Feats of Clay Scuttle TSD Wheat Cream - Lime Scent Conrad Two Piece O/C Bakelite Sharp Brand Blade - Day 2 TSD A/S Splash - 2X Iced Lime - :freezing :freezing :freezing Tried a new razor today, a Conrad two piece open comb with the handle and base made from Bakelite, and only the cap made from metal. Moved the Sharp blade from the "Firebar Fred" razor to this one, lathered up the required for trying out a new razor TSD Wheat Cream, and had a very nice shave. Only low spot of the day, is now I'm off to work.
Thanks Danny! It's a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W30. It's a little pocket Camera that I got to take with me on my Motorcycle runs. Fits right in the inside pocket of my vest! It's only 6.0 Megapixels but it takes great photos.
