Just wondering if anyone else has tried it? I've not tried a bunch of different brands, but I really enjoy the way it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and refreshed. Thought I'd pass it along...
I bought a Burt's Bees sample pack that came with shave cream and balm. They were the only shave products other than canned gel I have ever thrown away. Just did not work for me the cream was tough to rinse out of my razor and the balm was nothing special.
Boy that's annoying. The Bay Rum aftershave doesn't seem to be available in Canada. All we have is the aforementioned crap in the black tube. There also seems to be a Bay Rum shave soap, too, again, not available in Canada. C'mon Burt!
I like the Burts Bees Shave Cream , think it has since been discontinued. It does not lather at all , but I use it often for a last pass and skin sealant as find it has some very good moisturizing properties.
Yes, it comes in an aluminum bottle. And though it complements the Burt's Bees Bay Rum cologne/aftershave, I don't think it actually smells just like Bay Rum.
up until recently, it was available. however, it was not that good compared to other pucks out there so it isn't much of a loss.
I actually found that out yesterday. The barber used some bay rum aftershave when he got finished yesterday. It smelled ten times better than Burt's. Burt's is to strong smelling for my taste. My wife forbids me to wear it. I ended up tossing it. The stuff from yesterday she said was OK.
Today was my first time with the Burt's Bees aftershave (the black tube). The aroma is pleasant, but hard to describe. The ingredients include sunflower oil, coconut oil, aloe juice, bergamot oil, lemon oil, orange oil, patchouli oil, tangerine leaf oil, fir needle oil, rosemary leaf oil, and rosemary. The strongest note in the fragrance is bergamot, the fragrance in Earl Grey tea. It's a fairly heavy moisturizing cream. I wouldn't want to use it every day, but it is pleasant. I haven't seen the bay rum flavor.
That's the stuff I have. I didn't care for it at first but I guess it grows on ya. Maybe because I've learned more IDK. I'm not really a balm guy though. I like the moisturizer but I don't care for that oily feeling.
